This very dark ruby colored Cabernet based wine from Bordeaux is impressive. It opens with a black cherry and smoky oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced, refined and smooth. The flavor profile is a charred oak influenced black currant with notes of black olive. There are hints of black licorice and blueberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are nicely prolonged.
