A Red wine from Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru 'Aux Perdrix', Côte de Nuits, Bourgogne, France. Made from Pinot Noir. Very old vines planted in 1922 in the 1er Cru "Les Perdrix" and covers 8 "ouvrées"which gave its name to this cuvée. Vines are located on the north side of the climat on a clayey dominant soil. Aged 100% in new oak barrel for 18months Beautiful intense and concentrated nose. Jammy dark fruit (blackcurrant and blackberry) and prune. Well balanced and notes of mushroom and leather and vanilla. Very powerful fresh roasted deep finish. Very long finish ! Amazing !
